The Beaver Colony
Beaver Scouts are young people aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.
The Beaver Scout Motto is Be Prepared.
The Beaver Scout Promise is:
I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God.
Our Beavers enjoy lots of games and craft in our weekly meetings, gain badges and also take part in District events, outings and sleepovers.
We have a parent helper rota at Beavers, and parent helpers are all CRB checked as per the Scout Association rules.
