The Cub Pack
As a Cub Scout you get to try lots of different activities, and if you do them properly you earn a badge to wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out, and go camping two or three times a year with the rest of the Cub Pack. This means sleeping in a tent and doing lots of outdoor activities.
The Cub Scout Promise is:
I
promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and to the Queen,
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law
The Cub Scout Law is:
Cub
Scouts always do their best
Think of others before themselves
And do a good turn every day.
The Cub Scout Motto is Be Prepared
Parents do not help at the weekly meetings at the Cub Pack, but some CRBed parents lend an extra pair of hands on outings.
Autumn Term
The badges planned for the Autumn Term are the
Community Challenge, Artist Badge and Home Help
Badge.
We have a Science Museum Sleepover booked for 12th November. This is a great opportunity and there are 20 places for Cubs available. More details will be given in September.
Our Christmas Sleepover will be 11-12 December at DHQ on Eastern Avenue. This popular sleepover is open to all Cubs who want to come, and Cubs will sleep in a heated building (not tents!)
If you have any questions please speak to me at Cubs or email cubs@1stprittlewell.org.uk
